Team Nova Scotia squeaked out a 37-33 victory over PEI at the Atlantic Canadian Championships held March 12 at Credit Union Place in Summerside. Ralphie Bayers lead Nova Scotia with a win in both arms. Other Nova Scotia winners were Ryan Purdy, Shawn Ross and Kari Muldoon. Charlie McGeoghegan's wins over brother Pat with both arms brought the PEI squad close to defeating the 8 time champions. New Brunswick was dominating the lighter classes with  Jeremie Hachie taking both the right and left lightweight classes. Charlie's son Stephen was the big winner in the Junior division with wins in lightweight classes.
